ABOUT AMY
Building a network of CHAMPIONS with CONFIDENT CONNECTIONS that create a COMPETITIVE EDGE.
Tired of small talk that goes nowhere? Or worse, like everyone else got the manual on “how to network” and you’re stuck faking it?
Let’s fix it.
I’m Amy, and for more than 20 years, I’ve built a career (and three companies) on doing things differently. I’ve connected with millions of people—on stages, in boardrooms, across oceans, and yes, in those awkward name-tagged conference rooms—to help them turn conversations into career moves.
As the CEO of Last Night’s Game and Cultivate A Network Of Champions, Chair Emeritus of IrishAngels, corporate executive, and adjunct professor, I’ve shown up in a lot of rooms where I didn’t look or sound like everyone else, and still owned the space.
The secret? A Network of Champions.
The kind built on real talk, curiosity, and showing up as yourself, not a walking elevator pitch. Small talk done right isn’t small at all. It’s your starting line.
My work has reached over six million people in the last seven years. But it always starts the same way: one genuine conversation.
“ Amy is your biggest hype woman. She makes you feel as though you are the best of the best. She’s a networking guru!”
I Don’t Believe in Luck. I Believe in Champions.
Your career isn’t built on follower counts or polished LinkedIn updates. It’s built on the people who speak your name in rooms you haven’t entered yet. That’s your network of champions.
I learned that the hard way. I was let go from what I thought was my dream job. One day I had the title, the team, the connections—and the next, it was gone. But the morning after the fall, I got a call from a woman I call the “mayor” of my industry. She didn’t offer sympathy. She reminded me who I was. She saw the value I couldn’t, and her belief became the fuel for what came next.
That moment rewired everything for me. I made a promise: when I see talent, I say something. When I see potential, I name it because people rise faster when someone’s willing to bet on them out loud.
The truth? A close-knit, high-trust network constantly outperforms a long list of surface-level contacts. (Administrative Science Quarterly, 2005). And the best way to build that kind of network is to show up—not as who you think you should be, but as who you really are.
A network of champions: People who say your name in rooms you haven’t stepped into, yet.
